Hello! I’m Nadine

I am a small-town girl, trying to make sense of the world we are living in.

This blog started out of the need to find something creative to do. I fell in love with the whole process of blogging, even if technology doesn’t always play along and keeps me up at night, I still love it!

I currently work for myself as an architectural technologist. which is a fancy way of saying I can design your house and get it approved by your local municipality in South Africa. Even though I love being an architectural technologist, I do crave being creative in other ways.

This includes decorating my own home, baking (I recently baked my daughter’s first birthday cake, and loved every stressful moment of it!) and flower arranging. I also tried my hand at pottery at one point! As you can see, I love all the traditional homemaking skills!
