3 Free Printable Cleaning Checklist and Schedule
With 2 dogs, a husband, a 9-month-old baby girl, and an overwhelmed work-from-home-mama (that’s me by the way), it’s accurate to say that it’s challenging to keep our house tidy and clean!
I’ve found that the trick is to keep it simple and stick to routines (even when I fail to do so at times). So I made some easy-to-follow free printable cleaning checklists and or schedules to help you stay focused.
Personally, I’d much rather clean for shorter amounts of time more frequently, but it feels overwhelming to decide what to prioritize when you only have 15-20 minutes to clean at a time. So I made these charts and will keep them on the fridge. They will help me to keep track of what to do and let me check off small tasks as I complete them.
But everyone’s cleaning style is different. So choose the cleaning printable that feels doable to you or create your own!
A while back I’ve also shared my 45min cleaning routine with a free checklist that you can also download. But that routine was before I became a mom. Now I can clean as I have time!
1 – Pick a task
This one is easy and doesn’t require any organizational skills or commitment to long cleaning sessions. Just pick one task every day or two and get it done. The only exception is that housekeeping items should be done every day. By tackling one task at a time it doesn’t feel so overwhelming!
2 – Get on a schedule
This one would be good to laminate and then mark the date when each task is done. Add any additional tasks that are needed on the free lines. This option is great for those of us who like routine or who like to get the cleaning done in one intensive session! Making your house sparkle is just the greatest feeling ever!
If you are in the market for a new laminator to laminate your cleaning checklist, I’ve found an affordable one here that you can check out!
3 – It’s Your Domain
Here’s a blank template so that you can create your own plan! Write specific tasks for every day of the week or give one to each family member so that everyone has their own tasks to do! This is really up to your how you want to go about your cleaning routine!

I often look to other people for inspiration to better my own cleaning routines and systems. And I can highly recommend Becky from Clean Mama. I love how her site looks and makes you feel when you visit. You will find a lot of inspiration from her to help you with your cleaning routine.
